Job Opportunity:
We seek an experienced Planner to join our Civil & Infrastructure customer stream. This role will support project personnel with planning, scheduling, and setting up a planning system to manage and track activities, critical contractual and construction milestones, and labour and equipment resources on site.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Ensuring safe systems of work are implemented to minimize risk to the environment and health and safety for all personnel
- Conforming to company policies, standards, procedures, and relevant acts/legislation
- Supporting developing site/project specific health, safety, and environmental plans, and ensuring implementation and improvement
- Supporting reviewing and reporting incidents, HSE non-conformances, and near miss investigations to prevent recurrence, and participating in incident investigations when required
- Managing effective relationships and communication with clients and stakeholders
- Promoting a customer-focused team culture
- Analysing client needs and addressing them in alignment with company values
The ideal candidate will have:
- Demonstrated years of relevant industry planning/scheduling experience
- Formal or informal qualifications in Project Management, Engineering, Project Controls, Business, and Accounting
- A current White Card and driver's license
- A clean police record and ability to obtain DCSI and Defence clearance
- Strong communication skills, including writing reports and presenting
- Sound understanding of project management and construction methodologies
