About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team at Accor Hotels. As a Food and Beverage Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant and conference spaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Guest Experience
- Provide exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Supervise staff during their shifts, ensuring efficient service and high-quality food and beverage presentation.
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of breakfast buffets, ensuring a high standard of quality and presentation.
- Assist guests with menu recommendations and answer questions in a friendly and professional manner.
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure seamless service delivery during peak periods.
- Oversee the rostering and scheduling of food and beverage staff, ensuring adequate coverage during peak periods.
- Liaise with the Head Chef to manage inventory and ordering, ensuring efficient use of resources.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel environment.
- Knowledge of beverages, including barista coffee, cocktails, and wines, to maximize average spend.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail.
- Interest in building genuine connections with guests and colleagues.
- Availability to work varied shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol and Food Handling certification, or willingness to obtain.
- Must have working rights in Australia.
