Job Overview

The Library Officer position is a customer-facing role that requires providing support to students and staff for learning, teaching, and research activities.


Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality customer service to support the academic community.
  • Assist users in navigating Library spaces, facilities, and information resources across all collections.
  • Support the use of the University's Learning Management System and address general inquiries, referring complex matters to specialist teams when necessary.
  • Maintain knowledge of multiple online systems and manage print and digital resources effectively.

  • Demonstrated expertise in customer-facing roles with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in digital literacy and social media platforms.
  • Able to work collaboratively within own team and with other departments, considering joint efforts and outcomes from a collaborative perspective.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with presentation abilities.
