Training & Knowledge Officer

We're looking for someone who's passionate about helping people learn and grow. If you're a natural communicator who enjoys making complex information easier to understand, this role could be an exciting next step for you.

Working closely with the Training and Knowledge Manager, as our new Training & Knowledge Officer you'll be integral to skills and knowledge development within our Customer Experience team, running training programs for our Private Health insurance staff, building learning tools, and ensuring information in our knowledge management system stays accurate and up to date. You'll play a big part in helping our team feel confident and ready to support our members.

About the job:

  • Run training sessions for new starters and current team members—online and in-person.

  • Build helpful learning resources like quizzes, guides, and feedback tools.

  • Work with leaders to spot skill gaps and create training to fill them.

  • Write and update articles in our knowledge management system so everyone has access to clear, accurate information.

  • Help keep track of training schedules and make sure things run smoothly behind the scenes.

What you bring to the table:

  • Cert IV in Training & Assessment (or similar experience). Even better if you've got a diploma or bachelor's too.

  • Experience delivering training and building learning content.

  • Great communication skills—you're clear, approachable, and a good listener.

  • Able to pick up new systems quickly as well as grasp complex procedures or business rules.

  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and other digital tools. Experience with e-learning or health insurance is a plus.
