Maintenance Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Scheduler to join our team at Public Sector People. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in coordinating maintenance programs, ensuring the smooth operation of our assets and facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement maintenance programs, including planned and reactive maintenance activities, in collaboration with operational teams and engineers.
- Manage and distribute high-level planning and rolling three-month forecasts, ensuring resource capacity and schedule compliance.
- Work closely with field Team Leaders and Systems Operations to develop and monitor work plans and weekly schedules.
- Provide technical guidance and support to field crews, addressing operational and technical matters as escalated.
- Track work orders to completion and provide regular updates on backlog to Coordinators.
- Identify resource requirements, safety precautions, and special work instructions necessary to execute maintenance activities.
- Review operational compliance and implement continuous improvement recommendations in consultation with Team Leaders and Assets team.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate planned operational activities, including changes, delays, or deviations.
- Monitor and report on operational activities and budgets as necessary, investigating and reporting on non-compliances.
- Provide resource leveling for maintenance teams to ensure alignment with planned work schedules.
- Maximize equipment reliability and availability through effective planned maintenance practices.
