Job Description

We are seeking a professional to fill the role of Emergency Relief Assessor. This position is responsible for assessing community member needs and determining appropriate financial assistance.

The successful candidate will conduct interviews and assessments with community members in accordance with Doorways guidelines, determine the assistance to be provided, and refer community members to support services as needed.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess a Diploma level (preferred) or Certificate IV (minimum) qualification in a related field (Community Services etc), have experience working in the community services sector, and be able to work effectively with people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
