FIFO Maintenance Professional

We are seeking a skilled Handyman for Full Time FIFO employment working in the Goldfields region of Western Australia.

Job Description:

The selected candidate will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repair tasks, including fixing door handles, hinges, light fittings, minor leaks, and touch-up painting. Additionally, they will patch holes in walls, replace tiles, secure loose fixtures, and complete small surface repairs as required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine inspections of guest rooms, communal areas, and facilities to identify signs of damage, wear, or safety issues.
  • Replace items such as light bulbs, smoke detector batteries, taps, and shower heads as part of preventative upkeep.
  • Clear leaves, debris, and rubbish from external areas, including walkways, verandas, and car parks.
  • Perform minor outdoor maintenance, such as pressure washing surfaces, adjusting gates, and repairing fences.
Requirements:
  • Experience working in remote or FIFO mining villages.
  • Comfortable working independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Able to manage a daily job list while maintaining responsiveness to urgent issues.
  • Proven ability to work safely and maintain attention to detail.
  • WA Driver's Licence (C Class).
  • Construction White Card.
  • BASIC Handyman/Maintenance Certificate (if held).
  • First Aid & CPR.
  • Forklift Ticket.
