Event Management Specialist

About the role:

We are seeking an Event Management Specialist to oversee the technical and facilities management aspects of our venue. The successful candidate will lead a dedicated team to deliver high-quality events and shows for clients and patrons.

The ideal candidate will liaise directly with customers, coordinate staffing and scheduling for performances, maintain and oversee lighting, audio/video and technical requirements, and ensure solutions meet customer needs.

In addition, the Event Management Specialist will be responsible for overall facilities management, ensuring the venue remains safe, clean, and operational for staff and visitors.

This role requires a detailed understanding of Work Health and Safety legislation, problem-solving skills, and ability to advise on maintenance and technical requirements.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum four years' experience in a similar role
  • Relevant knowledge and experience in technical production, venue operations or similar
  • Detailed understanding of Work Health and Safety legislation
  • Problem-solving, planning skills and solution-oriented attitude
  • Ability to communicate effectively
