Estimated Salary: $55,946.46 per annumJob Description

The Class Preparation Assistant is responsible for ensuring that all aspects of classroom preparation are completed to a high standard, including hygiene and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) compliance, food storage and disposal, and equipment maintenance. This role requires excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience in stores procurement and commercial kitchen procedures and processes, including knowledge of hospitality equipment operation and maintenance;
  • A current formal qualification in Food Handling and knowledge of HACCP principles or the ability to obtain within a specified time;
  • Excellent administrative skills and accurate record-keeping abilities;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
