Job DescriptionThis full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills and experience work in multiple areas across our food service sites. As a Food and Beverage Attendant, you will be responsible for attending to food and beverage duties and bar work in a fast-paced supportive team environment. This role requires high quality table service experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
Main Responsibilities:- Explain menus to guests, assist those with special dietary needs or preferences, and provide suitable assistance when recommending beverages.
- Maximise sales opportunities by upselling items.
- Ensure accuracy while ordering and delivering food and beverage orders.
- Liaise with the Kitchen on special requests or delayed meals.
- Clear and reset tables as well as ensure service areas are clean and tidy.
- Maintain standards of hygiene for food handling and presentation.
- Promote a safe workplace by recognising hazards and promoting general OHS practices.
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- RSA Certificate Essential.
- Diploma in Hospitality Operations or similar is desirable but not required.
- Previous Bar experience.
- Experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Great presentation and customer service skills.
- Willingness to be part of an enthusiastic and motivated team.
- Strong awareness of Hygiene & Food Safety Standards.
- A positive can-do attitude and the ability to work early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
We offer a competitive salary range of $63,000 - $70,000 per year and a unique opportunity to grow your career in a dynamic and supportive team environment.
