Job Summary

The role of Credit Operations Lead involves strategic leadership and a focus on continuous improvement within the credit operations department.

This position plays a key part in documenting and refining credit processes, analysing incidents to identify root causes, and implementing solutions for operational excellence.

  • Lead and support the Credit Operations team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
  • Maintain and enhance documentation of credit processes and procedures.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to boost efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide clear reporting and visibility of team outputs to management.
  • Develop dashboards and reports to track KPIs and performance metrics.
  • Analyse data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Investigate incidents and issues, implement corrective actions, and monitor outcomes.
  • Evaluate and enhance internal controls to mitigate operational risk.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Support audits and provide relevant documentation and insights.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and reporting platforms.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement and manage change.
  • Experience in risk assessment and control enhancement.
