The Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Australia's leading provider of integrated financial services, is seeking a skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join their Group Reporting team. In this role, you will play a vital part in the financial operations of the Group, responsible for statutory, prudential, and statistical reporting to APRA, RBA, and ABS, as well as Pillar 3 reporting and other regulatory obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Focus on the continuous improvement agenda of the Group Reporting team, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and functionality.
  • Support and lead the automation agenda for the team, including transformation of statutory and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Advisory role on reporting process improvements and support to related projects.
  • Assist with half-year and year-end reporting deliverables, including the Annual Report, Profit Announcement, and Pillar 3.
  • Articulate key business drivers, provide critical insights to drive debate, and deliver value-add analysis of the Group's statutory results to senior stakeholders.
  • Contribute to a strong and vibrant team culture.

Requirements:

  • Excellent commercial acumen.
  • Experience with Alteryx, Tableau, or Power BI and SQL will be looked upon favourably.
  • Familiar working with large datasets.
  • Advanced Excel skills for financial modelling and analysis.
  • Strong analytical and commercial skills, with demonstrated ability to draw insights from analysis.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously.
  • Innovative and able to drive results.
