Physiotherapist Position

We are currently seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team in providing high-quality care to residents. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a reputable provider of Aged Care services, focusing on delivering top-notch care and supporting the development of staff.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering quality interventions, including assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating physiotherapy treatments and programs for individual residents. This will include the following core areas of professional practice:

  • Mobility and Fall Prevention
  • Injury Risk Management and Chronic Disease Control
  • Pain Management Strategies

The Physiotherapist will also provide leadership, guidance and clinical supervision to ensure the needs of residents are met in accordance with their care plans.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Supporting a multidisciplinary team approach that prioritizes the physical and emotional wellbeing of residents.
  2. Providing comprehensive assessments and regular reviews to identify residents' physical, social and emotional needs.
  3. Building trusting relationships with residents based on dignity and respect.

About You

  • Bachelor of Science (Physiotherapy) degree.
  • Current registration with the relevant authority as a Physiotherapist.
  • Experience in residential and community-based assessment and rehabilitation.
  • Demonstrated excellence in delivering evidence-based physiotherapy interventions.
