Physiotherapist Senior Clinician - Inpatient Aged Care

Location: Bulli District Hospital (BDH), Dharawal Country. 22 hours per week until 4 October 2026. Temporary Part Time. Salary: $56.68 - $58.52 per hour + 12% super & salary packaging. Applications close: 27 August 2025. REQ597351. Grade: Physiotherapist Level 3.

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Level 3 Physiotherapist to join our Subacute Aged Care team. This position is ideal for an experienced clinician with demonstrated expertise in clinical supervision, service evaluation, and advanced practice within aged care or Geriatric Evaluation and Management (GEM). The successful applicant will play a key leadership role in supporting the clinical development of team members, driving quality improvement initiatives, and delivering expert, person-centred care to older adults with complex health needs. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape services and support innovation in subacute and geriatric care.

Responsibilities
  • Lead clinical development of team members and supervise junior staff.
  • Drive quality improvement initiatives in subacute aged care and GEM settings.
  • Deliver expert, person-centred care to older adults with complex health needs.
  • Contribute to service evaluation and development of clinical practice.
Qualifications
  • Physiotherapist Level 3 (Grade: Physiotherapist Level 3).
  • Experience in aged care or Geriatric Evaluation and Management (GEM).
  • Experience in clinical supervision and service evaluation.
Employment details
  • Temporary leave relief position until 4 October 2026 with possibility of extension.
  • Part-time 22 hours per week.
  • Location: Bulli District Hospital, northern Illawarra.
