Job Overview

This role offers a chance to be part of our dynamic Tax division, working alongside talented professionals who share a passion for delivering exceptional results.

You will have the opportunity to work on various projects, developing your skills and expertise in corporate tax advisory, M&A tax, GST advisory, employment tax, payroll, trade & customs, and transfer pricing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Corporate Tax Advisory: Provide high-quality advisory and compliance services to clients, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of results.
  • M&A Tax/Stamp Duty: Assist clients with tax due diligence, structuring, modeling, duty, and land tax compliance, as well as dispute resolutions.
  • GST Advisory/GST DDX/Employment Tax/Payroll/Trade & Customs: Deliver value-added advisory and compliance services to clients, leveraging your analytical skills to resolve complex problems.
  • GMS Tax Advisory/GMS DDX: Offer expert advice on expatriate tax compliance issues, including preparation and review of company and trust income tax returns.
  • Transfer Pricing: Help clients develop commercially viable transfer pricing policies, compile documentation for revenue authority audits, and ensure local revenue requirements are met.
Requirements
  • Corporate Tax Advisory: 3+ years of experience in tax advisory or compliance, preferably CA/CPA qualified or holding a Master's of Taxation degree.
  • M&A Tax/Stamp Duty: Demonstrated experience in finance, accounting, or law, ideally with significant recent experience in duty in an M&A/transactional tax environment.
  • GST Advisory/GST DDX/Employment Tax/Payroll/Trade & Customs: A degree in Accounting, Commerce, or related disciplines, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • GMS Tax Advisory/GMS DDX: Experience with expatriate tax compliance issues and strong tax compliance knowledge.
  • Transfer Pricing: Prior experience in transfer pricing, preferably in a Big 4 or mid-tier firm, the ATO, or corporate environment.
