About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in tax advisory services, including experience with financial statements preparation and review, income tax returns, and corporate tax matters. They will be able to provide expert advice on personal income tax, capital gains tax, superannuation, and private company tax issues, among others.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Project management of annual compliance processes for multiple client groups
  • Providing personalized structuring advice to clients
  • Training and mentoring junior team members
  • Knowledge sharing within the team to drive efficiency

In addition, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines. They will also have a high standard of integrity, confidentiality, accountability, and professionalism.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A CA or CPA qualification (or equivalent)
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Suite of products, particularly Excel, and APS Tax
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • A collaborative approach and ability to work effectively in a team environment

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus additional benefits such as flexible working arrangements, mental health programs, and professional development opportunities.
