Overview:

Night Managers play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of hotels during overnight hours. They are responsible for overseeing the hotel, managing guest experiences, supervising team performance, and ensuring accurate and timely completion of night audits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the front office, specifically for the Night Audit function and overnight duties.
  • Ensure the front office team delivers excellent service, professionalism, and personal recognition to guests.
  • Greet guests upon arrival, engage with them, respond to complaints appropriately, solicit feedback, and foster relationships to improve guest satisfaction.
  • Conduct routine inspections of hotel grounds and address deficiencies promptly.
  • Provide cross-departmental support to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Train and equip colleagues to perform their duties effectively.
  • Manage all hotel operations during your shift, including night audit and preparation of daily financial reports.
  • Respond to emergency situations effectively.
Requirements:
  • At least three years of guest service or hotel experience, including one year in a management role.
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and manage competing priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to turn issues into opportunities and ensure memorable guest experiences.
  • Current Responsible Service of Alcohol, First Aid, and CPR certifications.
  • Availability to work shifts from 11 pm to 7 am.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required.
  • Full working rights in Australia without restrictions.
