Job Description

Calling all Night Owls Pullman & Mercure Melbourne Albert Park are seeking a dedicated, reliable, and service-oriented customer service professional to join our hotel overnight Front Office team as a Night Auditor .

As an experienced Hotel Night Auditor , you will be responsible for rolling out our financial system from the day, providing a positive guest experience, and welcoming late-night arrivals. Working 11PM - 7AM shifts alongside our Night Manager, you will process nightly reports, contributing to a smooth overnight shift and building your skillset.

What You'll be doing

  • Welcoming late arrival guests and bidding farewell to early departures.
  • Ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the hotel's overnight service, maintaining guest satisfaction, and ensuring safety and security.
  • Taking initiative to ensure positive and productive interactions with guests.
  • Undertaking daily reconciliation of the hotel's trading, including report checking, audits, and paperwork for departures.
  • Preparing and distributing reports to relevant departments.
  • Managing and confirming reservation details and guest accounts, ensuring accuracy.

Qualifications - About You

  • A passion for delivering positive guest experiences and creating memorable moments.
  • Experience with Opera property management system is desirable.
  • Detail-oriented and numerically skilled, ensuring procedures are followed.
  • Confident in handling credit card and cash transactions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solution-focused with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Empathetic and able to assist diverse clientele.
