Job Description

This part-time 12-month parental cover contract opportunity is available for an experienced Event Manager to join our Brisbane office team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and manage high-profile client events with precision and expertise.
  • Develop annual budgets for client and staff events, ensuring timely delivery within allocated resources.
  • Maintain industry knowledge and market trends.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers/vendors.
  • Provide strategic recommendations for Business Development and Client Strategy initiatives.
  • Evaluate events against internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you will require:

  • Proven event management skills, with experience delivering high-profile events.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and clients.
  • Prior experience working with CRM software (InterAction) and HTML email distribution.
  • Demonstrated financial awareness and budgeting skills.
  • Capacity to work under pressure, meeting deadlines while maintaining flexibility in working hours.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
