Network Operations Specialist
Description
- Deliver uninterrupted 24/7 support for the global infrastructure to minimize impact on users and customers.
- Monitor infrastructure and be a key participant in Incident and Change Management processes.
- Perform data analysis to determine performance and identify areas of improvement.
Responsibilities
- Execute Incident, Change, and Problem Management processes effectively.
- Apply vendor management techniques to ensure forward-progress managed Incidents.
- Monitor traffic, systems, and central site processing, addressing anomalies detected.
- Route central site and customer traffic as necessary to minimize downtime and impact.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
- Intermediate-level knowledge of routing, switching, tunneling, and MPLS.
- Novice-level ability to perform post-event analysis.
- Demonstrate ability to function in at least three of the following disciplines: UNIX, Mainframe, Production Control, File Transfer, Single-Message, Dual-Message, or Network.
Security Obligations
- Acknowledge and comply with security policies and practices.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity of accessed information.
- Report any suspected security violation or breach.
