The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and community-focused educator to join our team. As an educator, you will work closely with individuals, families, schools, and community groups to deliver engaging education and awareness campaigns promoting smoke-free environments and healthy lifestyle choices.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective education and awareness campaigns to promote smoke-free environments and support quit-smoking strategies.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote healthy lifestyle choices and address tobacco use.
  • Work closely with individuals, families, schools, and community groups to empower them to take control of their health and wellbeing.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A strong commitment to improving the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
  • Experience in health promotion, education, or community engagement, particularly in Aboriginal health or community education.
  • Ability to connect with people, build trust, and engage respectfully with individuals, families, schools, and community groups.
