The OpportunityWe have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and community-focused educator to join our team. As an educator, you will work closely with individuals, families, schools, and community groups to deliver engaging education and awareness campaigns promoting smoke-free environments and healthy lifestyle choices.
Your Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective education and awareness campaigns to promote smoke-free environments and support quit-smoking strategies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote healthy lifestyle choices and address tobacco use.
- Work closely with individuals, families, schools, and community groups to empower them to take control of their health and wellbeing.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A strong commitment to improving the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
- Experience in health promotion, education, or community engagement, particularly in Aboriginal health or community education.
- Ability to connect with people, build trust, and engage respectfully with individuals, families, schools, and community groups.
