Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dietitian to join our team at Monash Health Community. As a passionate and experienced professional, you will be responsible for providing best practice patient care and achieving maximal operational effectiveness.

The successful incumbent will work across various sites, operating from a person-centred care framework and aligning with the social model of health. You will provide a continuum of care, supporting clients through all stages of non-acute care from prevention through to rehabilitation.

You will lead by example, thrive working in a dynamic environment and be truly passionate about delivering a high standard of evidence-based care to all clients. You will have sound skills in assessing and planning patients' community health discharge requirements and knowledge of the various community health support services available.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing nutritional assessment, treatment, and coordination of services to patients
  • Delivering patient-centred care and advocating for patients
  • Working collaboratively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An approved undergraduate degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from a Dietetics Australia accredited course or an approved Bachelor of Science Degree (or equivalent qualification) followed by a postgraduate degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from a DA accredited course or The DSR dietetics examination for overseas trained dietitians, administered by DA
  • Current AHP registration or registration with National Registration Authority
  • Valid Driver's Licence
  • Australian working rights
