Job Overview

You will serve as a vital member of our multidisciplinary team at Peninsula Health, providing expert dietetic assessments and discharge planning for patients within a rehabilitation model of care. Additionally, you will offer clinical leadership and support to other dietetic staff, including Grade 1 Dietitians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive dietetic assessments and discharge planning for patients using a patient-centered approach.
  • Provide clinical guidance and support to other Dietetic staff, including Grade 1 Dietitians, ensuring a best practice approach to patient care.
  • Engage actively in clinical supervision.
  • Participate meaningfully in the Department's Quality Improvement program.

Requirements:

  • Membership or eligibility for membership of Dietitians Australia.
  • Membership or eligibility for membership of the Accredited Practicing Dietitian Program.
  • Demonstrated participation in professional development.
  • Able to supervise and mentor students, Grade 1 staff, and promote professional competence.
  • Ability to exhibit flexibility and effective time management regarding workload.
