Job Opportunity:

The role of Dietetic Professional is a vital position within our organisation, contributing to the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive nutrition assessments and developing client-centered nutrition care plans
  • Providing education and counselling to patients, residents, carers, and families
  • Collaborating with various teams to ensure meals are safe and nutritionally adequate
  • Monitoring and acting on changes in residents' weight and nutritional risk using validated screening tools and escalation pathways
  • Identifying and responding to risk and feedback from clients, families, and staff in a timely and professional manner

Requirements include:

  • Effective and highly developed interpersonal skills
  • Computer skills and the ability to provide relevant reports and statistics
  • Willingness to undertake annual vaccinations, drug and alcohol testing, fit testing and employment checks as required by Victorian law and Department of Health guidelines
