About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Services Accountant to join our team in Melbourne. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for preparing financial statements, conducting financial reporting and analysis, and providing business advisory services to clients.

  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
  • Conduct financial analysis and reporting for clients, identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations
  • Provide business advisory services, including tax planning and compliance
  • Manage client relationships, ensuring timely delivery of services and exceeding client expectations
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of 2+ years' experience as a Business Services Accountant or similar role
  • CA or CPA qualification or nearing completion
  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting or related field
  • Experience with Australian taxation, particularly Division 7a calculations
  • Demonstrable experience liaising with stakeholders, including clients and colleagues
