Bookkeeper

We are a Chartered Accountants firm located in Richmond Victoria specializing in providing quality tax, business management accounting, bookkeeping and advisory services to our range of small to Medium enterprises and high net worth group structures.
Due to our continued business growth and success, an exciting opportunity now exists in our firm for a bookkeeper/Assistant accountant who can start immediately and has experience with payroll, BAS preparation, Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB, Bank feeds processing and reconciliations.
Practical training on a frequent basis will be provided to the successful applicant.
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide clients with Bookkeeping support
- Posting and scanning invoices
- Bank reconciliation
- Accounts Payable and Receivable
- General Ledger account reconciliations
- Client payroll processing
- Client superannuation lodgement
- Preparation of Business Activity Statements
- Posting and scanning invoices
- Maintenance of client files;
- General office and administration tasks, including written and verbal correspondence
- Maintaining Client relationships
- Liaison with senior accountants to prepare end of year financials and income tax returns
Requirements for the Role:
- Minimum one year of bookkeeping experience is a must
- Experienced with XERO
- Strong time management and prioritization skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Studying Towards Accounting and Finance.
