Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented paralegal to provide administrative support to our team of legal writers. The successful candidate will work closely with our team to deliver high-quality content, ensuring that it meets the needs of our subscribers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor practice area developments and conduct thorough research
- Draft news alerts and other written materials
- Review and format content for new templates
- Maintain marketing and training materials
- Liaise with external authors and stakeholders
Requirements:
- A law graduate or law student with practical experience in a legal institution
- Familiarity with commercial practice areas and LexisNexis products
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Location and Work Arrangements:
We are open to considering candidates who can commit to a flexible 3-day (21 hours) per week schedule. Preference will be given to those able to work from our Melbourne or Sydney office to facilitate training and collaboration.
Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this role is approximately $70,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including discounted health plan rates, life assurance, income protection, and access to learning and development resources.
