About the Role:
Lendlease is seeking a highly skilled EHS Coordinator to join our team on a large-scale project in the Sydney CBD. As a key member of the project team, you will be responsible for driving EHS performance on site, providing technical expertise to identify issues and trends, and implementing safety and training initiatives to improve our safety performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement EHS strategies and plans to ensure compliance with local legal and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Provide technical expertise to the project team to ensure EHS best practices are followed.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement safety training programs.
- Monitor and report on EHS performance metrics to ensure continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in an EHS Coordinator/Advisor position, preferably in the construction and/or engineering industries.
- Large-scale commercial/residential project experience is highly regarded.
- Strong understanding and knowledge of local legal and regulatory health and safety requirements.
- Strong knowledge of safe working systems, legislation, rules, and procedures.
- Clear and articulate communication skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders, both internally and externally.
