Job Title

We are seeking a dedicated educator with a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of young people to join our team. Your role will encompass delivering exceptional academic and wellbeing programs, supporting the implementation of vocational training initiatives, and collaborating with other staff members to ensure the effective operation of the campus.

  • Deliver engaging and effective academic lessons that draw from both traditional pedagogy and innovative vocational training approaches
  • Implement holistic wellbeing programs that reflect the organisation's focus on nurturing the overall health and wellbeing of students
  • Assist in the delivery of vocational training programs, building upon the foundation laid by the organisation's history of practical education
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the effective operation of the campus and the continuation of the organisation's commitment to holistic education
  • Plan, prepare and deliver quality and effective teaching and learning programs which are consistent with relevant syllabi, curriculum policies, work programs and educational trends
  • Organise and participate in parent/student/teacher meetings to share updates on student progress
  • Contribute to the maintenance of student records, case management, the collection of samples of work and reporting on the student performance as per the school's policies and procedures
  • Liaise with other staff, parents and external stakeholders concerning the educational, social and emotional status of students, including management of their learning, pastoral care and vocational pathways
Selection Criteria
  • Hold a relevant University degree and current registration with the relevant authority
  • First Aid Certificate and CPR Qualifications (desirable)
  • Proven ability to connect with and support disengaged and high-risk students
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills that align with the organisation's values of fostering community and inclusivity
  • Possession of a Passion for holistic education and the ability to integrate academic, wellbeing, and vocational principles
  • Commitment to upholding the organisation's values and mission
  • Previous experience in delivering vocational training programs is advantageous
