Senior Contracts Administrator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Contracts Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of large subcontracts and self-performed works, ensuring alignment with project objectives and stakeholder expectations.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to take on a leadership role in our commercial management team. You will work closely with construction and design teams to negotiate contracts, manage subcontractor claims and payments, and mentor junior staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end commercial management of large subcontracts and self-performed works.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies and manage subcontractor engagement.
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to junior commercial staff.
  • Maintain strong subcontractor relationships and market awareness.
  • Support head contract administration and reporting.

The ideal candidate will possess tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, Economics, Quantity Surveying, Law, or Commerce, along with minimum 5 years' experience as a Contracts Administrator or Quantity Surveyor in the construction and engineering industry.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Contracts Administrator or Quantity Surveyor in the construction and engineering industry.
