Key Business Applications Manager

As a seasoned applications manager, you will oversee the performance, reliability, and usability of key business applications to ensure they align with current and future business needs.

You will contribute technical expertise in projects and problem-solving, particularly where deep understanding of ERP, BI, or software development is required.

Manage major application changes, upgrades, and system integrations, ensuring value to the business.

Identify and implement opportunities to optimize existing applications and business processes through automation, configuration, or new technologies.

Maintain close working relationships with key departments to ensure systems are aligned with operational needs and strategic goals.

Implement and maintain application governance frameworks, including access controls, licensing, data privacy, and audit readiness.

Provide direction and support to internal staff and third-party vendors involved in application development and support.

Work closely with senior IT leadership to define and execute the applications strategy in line with the broader IT and business strategy.

Commit to a safe work environment and continuous improvement.

Be a self-starter and able to work both autonomously and as part of a team.

Hold a degree qualification in Information Technology.

ITIL Foundation certification.

Agile or Scrum certification.

BI platform certifications.

Cloud platform certifications.

DevOps or Software Development certifications.

Demonstrate a commitment to workplace safety and the safety of colleagues.

Candidates progressing past interview stage will undergo pre-employment assessments, including national police clearance and medical screening.
