We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of a Research Fellow.

  • This position will play a key part in our research, education and service activities in Indonesia and Southeast Asia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct rigorous and impactful research on economic development in Indonesia and Southeast Asia.
  • Develop and deliver high-quality teaching materials for undergraduate and postgraduate courses related to Indonesian studies.
  • Supervise PhD students working on projects related to the region.
  • Foster collaborations with government agencies, businesses, and community groups through policy analysis and advice.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A PhD in a relevant field such as economics, political science or international relations.
  • A strong background in research, with a focus on Southeast Asia and Indonesia.
  • Excellent teaching skills, with experience in supervising students.
  • Effective communication skills to convey complex ideas to diverse audiences.
