Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Powerline Technician to join our team in Tweed Heads, NSW. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced individual to contribute to the construction, installation, connection, maintenance and repair of high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) overhead and underground distribution network assets.

The successful candidate will be responsible for general system switching and access procedure principles, demonstrating compliance with and implementation of enterprise WHS and Environmental procedures and processes. A Certificate III in ESI - Power Systems with electives in Distribution Overhead is required, along with a Driver's Licence and WorkCover NSW Construction induction Certificate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine checks and maintenance on powerlines and equipment
  • Ensure all work is carried out safely and efficiently
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certificate III in ESI - Power Systems with electives in Distribution Overhead
  • Driver's Licence
  • WorkCover NSW Construction induction Certificate
