This role oversees the lifecycle of digital products, ensuring they deliver value to members while balancing user needs, technical feasibility, and organisational priorities.

To succeed in this role, you will need a design-oriented mindset, big-picture perspective, and curious approach to problem-solving. You must thrive in ambiguity, embracing complexity to explore innovative solutions. You are a technologist at heart, understanding how digital tools enhance user experiences while being collaborative and adaptable to changing needs.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide operational leadership for digital products, ensuring their long-term stability and growth.
  • Maintain digital products, minimising technical debt and ensuring long-term service stability.
  • Test new ideas, integrating them into strategies and workflows.
  • Collaborate with teams and stakeholders to support member needs and strategic goals.
  • Manage external services and maintenance providers, ensuring high-quality delivery against contracts.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to improve product outcomes.
  • Support teams in monitoring and reporting on product performance and development status, ensuring alignment with business needs.

Necessary Skills and Experience:

  • Four years of experience in product management, working in digital product design and development teams.
  • At least three years of experience in product leadership within an Agile environment, with a deep understanding of Agile methodologies and iterative development.
  • Demonstrated understanding of digital learning and educational design workflows and how digital products support learning experiences.
  • Previous experience working in-depth with product design, either within industry settings or educational technology providers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in both team-based and individual settings, effectively engaging members, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
