Job Summary

The ICT Contracts and Vendor Team Leader role involves supporting the delivery of ICT contracts and vendor management.

Main Responsibilities

  • Facilitate ICT contracts for products and services, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Conduct thorough vendor risk assessments and manage contracts to minimize risks.
  • Negotiate, perform, govern, and quality assure contracts to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with the Technology and Information Management Leadership Team to develop and prioritize an annual work plan.
  • Establish and monitor contract performance in accordance with Contract Management Plans, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Provide coaching, training, and workload management for direct reports to enhance their skills and productivity.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in ICT sourcing and contract management, preferably 3+ years.
  • Holding a Certificate IV in Procurement and Contract Management is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within government agencies is preferred.
  • A proven track record of team management is essential.

Eligibility and Conditions

  • Australian citizenship is mandatory.
  • A Character clearance (Australian Criminal History Check) is required.
  • An Employee Health Declaration must be completed.
  • A six-month probationary period applies to new engagements.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance is necessary.
