About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Clinical Trials Administration Officer at Calvary Mater Newcastle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Clinical Trial Unit Manager, including basic filing, roster management, meeting management, and minute taking.
  • Manage Kronos payroll information for the unit.
  • Support finance and coordinators with ongoing administrative tasks related to the management of clinical trials.
  • Support clinical trial coordinators with ongoing administrative tasks related to the management of clinical trials.
  • Assist with scanning and filing.
  • Support the management of laboratory inventory.
  • Communicate effectively with the trial team and other supporting departments within the hospital.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as determined by the Clinical Trial Unit Manager for the level of responsibility.
Requirements
  • Qualification in health or research administration, or working towards one, or a combination of qualifications or experience.
  • Strong administrative, organization, and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with internal and external stakeholders, as well as the ability to function as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience of the Microsoft Office Suite; advanced Word and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail with a very high level of accuracy when working with a range of computer systems and processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize work and complete tasks accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively problem-solve, show initiative, and execute sound judgment.
