Operations Director Job Description

The Operations Director oversees the warehouse to drive growth and profit. They collaborate with assigned customer lists to translate requirements into products, interacting with technical personnel, customers, and suppliers.

Main Responsibilities
  • Translate customer performance demands into product recommendations or new product designs.
  • Work with manufacturing teams to optimize product design for ease of production.
  • Prepare and submit Bills of Materials, technical documents, and descriptions to the commercial team.
  • Follow a structured project management system for tracking.
  • Interact with raw material suppliers to stay current with polymer systems and equipment.
Key Qualifications
  • Solid understanding of resins used in flexible films packaging and extrusion equipment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent analytical skills and strong planning/organizing abilities.
  • Self-motivated individual able to work independently when needed.
  • Degree in Chemical or Polymer Science/Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in product development, process engineering, or related areas.
