Mergers and Acquisitions Associate

We are seeking an experienced Associate or Senior Associate to join our Mergers and Acquisitions team in Melbourne. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on complex and interesting transactions in the mining and resources sector.
Key Responsibilities- Advising on acquisitions and divestments in the mining, energy, and resources sectors, including infrastructure and energy transition-related assets.
- Providing expertise on joint ventures, JOAs, shareholders agreements, and farm-in arrangements.
- Working on matters in the critical minerals space, such as lithium and copper, on Australian and offshore projects.
- Assisting with other commercial contracts in the sector, including commodity offtake agreements.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with a strong interest in the mining and resources sector. You will have experience working in a similar role, preferably in a leading Australian practice or international firm. You will also have a growth mindset, a willingness to learn, and a desire to build effective working relationships with clients.
