Mergers and Acquisitions Associate

We are seeking an experienced Associate or Senior Associate to join our Mergers and Acquisitions team in Melbourne. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on complex and high-profile transactions in the mining and resources sector.
Key Responsibilities- Advising clients on acquisitions and divestments in the mining, energy, and resources sectors
- Assisting with joint ventures, shareholders agreements, and farm-in arrangements
- Providing expertise on matters related to critical minerals, such as lithium and copper
- Working on commercial contracts, including commodity offtake agreements
We are looking for an individual with a strong background in the mining resources sector, preferably with experience working in a leading Australian practice or international firm. You should have a keen interest in the sector, a willingness to learn, and a growth mindset.
You will have the ability to effectively manage large matters, play a key role in a team, and establish professional relationships with clients. A desire to learn, grow, and network is essential.
