**Job Opportunity for Behaviour Support Practitioner**

We are seeking a skilled Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team. This role requires you to work closely with clients and their families to identify and address their needs.

As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will be responsible for:

  1. Assisting clients and their families to identify their needs through assessment and person-centred planning.
  2. Evaluating, developing, and delivering evidence-based support plans within complex support environments.
  3. Developing meaningful goals and practical strategies utilising a positive behaviour support framework.
  4. Ensuring individual plans reflect clients' goals, passions, and strengths.
  5. Building knowledge, capacity, and strengths of those who support participants.
  6. Acting as an advocate and role model for best practice.

To be considered suitable, you will have:

  • 6 months experience providing Behaviour Support in an NDIS setting.
  • Current suitability confirmed by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission at CORE level.
  • Completed a degree-level qualification as an allied health professional.
  • Membership/registration with one of the following: AHPRA, ESSA, SPA, AOB, ANZACATA, AASW.
  • Report writing experience and excellent time management skills.
  • Genuine passion for working in the disability sector.
