Catholic Education Office - Diocese Of Sale is seeking a highly skilled Learning Adjustment Adviser to join our team. As a Learning Adjustment Adviser, you will play a critical role in improving the measurable outcomes of students with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to improving the measurable outcomes of students with disabilities through building the capacity of leaders to identify, intervene and support students and lead teacher inclusive practice.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based teacher practice in a school environment.
  • Work collaboratively with school leaders to develop and implement inclusive education strategies.
  • Provide professional development and support to teachers to enhance their skills and knowledge in inclusive education.
  • Collaborate with other stakeholders to ensure that students with disabilities receive the support they need to succeed.
Requirements
  • A commitment to the ethos, values and mission of Catholic education.
  • A commitment to and understanding of child protection and child safety issues in schools.
  • School leadership experience in inclusive education/learning adjustment/learning diversity.
  • Knowledge of and experience working with the Disability Standards for Education and the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD) process.
  • The ability to lead and implement evidence-based teacher practice in a school environment.
  • The capacity to work in a high functioning team.
