Establish a strong foundation for our cloud services by ensuring reliability, availability, and performance, with a focus on integrating security operations and development operations. This critical role will involve architecting and maintaining robust, secure infrastructure, automating workflows, and optimising system health through proactive engineering and responsive troubleshooting.

As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with development teams to embed security practices into the lifecycle of software development and operations, aiming to achieve seamless and secure service delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing high-reliability systems
  • Integrating security operations and development operations
  • Automating workflows to improve efficiency
  • Optimising system health through proactive engineering and responsive troubleshooting
  • Collaborating with development teams to embed security practices into software development and operations

As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our cloud services. With a focus on security integration, automation, and performance optimisation, you will work closely with development teams to deliver seamless and secure service delivery.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual with a strong background in engineering, SRE, and security operations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SRE core principles and experience implementing and iterating on them with business and technical stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have:

  • 8+ years of engineering experience with a deep technical knowledge of computer science and engineering
  • Demonstrated technical leadership experience, such as tech lead or engineering manager
  • Experience with modern SecOps and DevOps methods and tooling
  • Functional experience with enterprise security frameworks such as SOC1, SOC2, and ISO27001
  • Extensive knowledge of infrastructure as code techniques, including tools like Terraform
  • Experience with CI/CD best practices
  • Experience building, automating, and monitoring production cloud environments, preferably on GCP
  • Strong knowledge of security and networking concepts in practice
  • Strong coding skills in languages like Scala, Python, Go, Java, or SQL, and excellent scripting skills
  • Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems
