About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Data Architect to join our team at Infosys Singapore & Australia. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead the development of our data architecture strategy, aligning it with our business objectives and ensuring seamless integration across all systems.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive data architecture strategy, encompassing data warehousing, Master Data Management, data integration, Business Intelligence & Analytics, content management, and data management platforms.
  • Lead a team of architects and subject matter experts in delivering information management solutions that meet the needs of large end-user bases.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement data strategies that support business objectives, leveraging industry best practices around data architecture in both cloud-based and on-premises solutions.
  • Provide technical expertise for change initiatives, working closely with solution architects, technical architects, and business product owners to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Work with IT teams to understand target architecture delivery dependencies and align delivery timeframes.
  • Ensure requirements for data governance, quality, metadata management, mastering, and security are met.
  • Build a framework of principles to ensure data integrity across the business and maintain appropriate Enterprise Architecture artefacts, including Entity Relationship Models, Data dictionaries, and taxonomies.
  • Advocate for data security principles and ensure their incorporation into data strategies.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in developing progressive information management solutions and supporting end-to-end development life-cycles, including SDLC processes.
  • Leadership experience in managing teams, including architects and subject matter experts.
  • Established track record of delivering information management solutions to large numbers of end-users.
  • Expertise in architecting and implementing enterprise data warehouse, Master Data Management, data integration, BI & Analytics, content management, and data management platforms.
  • Experience creating and implementing data strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Strong knowledge of industry best practices around data architecture in both cloud-based and on-premises solutions.
  • Comprehensive understanding of data warehousing and data transformation (extract, transform, and load) processes, as well as supporting technologies like Amazon Glue, EMR, Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, and other analytics products.
  • Excellent problem-solving and data modeling skills, including logical, physical, semantic, and integration models, normalization, OLAP/OLTP principles, and entity relationship analysis.
  • Ability to map key Enterprise data entities to business capabilities and applications.
  • Strong knowledge of horizontal data lineage from source to output.
  • Excellent communication and presentational skills, confident, methodical approach, and ability to work within a team environment.

Salary

We offer an estimated salary range of SGD 180,000 - 250,000 per annum, depending on experience, for this role in Singapore or Australia.
