Category Manager, Australia

We are seeking an exceptional individual to lead our category management efforts in Australia. As a Category Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our business in this region.

Job Description:

As one of our first two hires in Australia, you will be responsible for launching and owning a category in this market. You will work closely with our General Manager, Australia, to strategize and execute plans to drive growth and success in this region.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Leverage your expertise to identify opportunities and develop strategies to grow our category in Australia.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including sellers, buyers, and influencers.
  • Collaborate with our product team to develop and implement effective marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
  • Analyze data and market trends to inform your decisions and drive business results.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in a fast-paced, client-facing role, preferably in a business development or partner-facing capacity.
  • Strong understanding of the Australian market and its dynamics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in SQL and data analysis tools.
