Business Financial Strategist

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Analyse complex financial data to inform business decisions.
  • Partner with stakeholders to optimise budget outcomes and guide long-term planning.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance financial processes, reporting systems, and work practices.
Requirements
  • CPA or CA membership and tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Business.
  • At least 5 years' experience in a similar role, ideally within a complex or government environment.
  • Strong knowledge of local government legislation and accounting standards.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills – able to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills, plus experience with business intelligence tools and enterprise resource planning systems.
