Job Title: Strategic Finance Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled finance professional to join our Financial Services team. As a key player, you will deliver high-level financial analysis and insights that drive strategic planning.

  • Deliver high-level financial analysis and insights that drive strategic planning.
  • Create interactive dashboards and visual reporting tools to inform business decisions.
  • Partner with directorates to optimise budget outcomes and guide long-term financial planning.
  • Play a hands-on role in the development, testing, and implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance financial processes, reporting systems, and work practices.
  • Train and support colleagues and teams in financial management and corporate systems.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) or Certified Practising Accountant (CA) membership and tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Business.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, ideally within a complex or government environment.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulations.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills – able to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills, plus experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools and ERP systems.
  • A strategic mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.
