Key Role

The role is pivotal in ensuring research ethics and integrity are upheld across the organization.

It involves managing ethics and site-specific authorization of new projects, amendments & post-approval items. Additionally, it entails reviewing and signing off on Research Agreements.

The ideal candidate will have experience in reviewing and interpreting research projects and agreements, preparing and managing research projects from design to post-approval requirements, and providing timely and efficient minute-taking and record keeping services.

Effective communication and time management skills are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage ethics and site-specific authorization of new projects, amendments & post-approval items
  • Review and sign-off of Research Agreements
  • Provide advice pertaining to research ethics, research governance and research agreement matters
  • Prepare and present research training and one-on-one consultation with researchers
  • Manage Ethics Committees, as required, including preparation of documents, agendas, provision of advice based on relevant guidelines and legislation and taking minutes at the meeting
  • Assist in reporting KPIs and preparing institutional reports

Requirements:

  • Experience in reviewing and interpreting research projects and agreements
  • Preparation and management of research projects from design to post-approval requirements
  • Timely and efficient minute-taking and record keeping
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and proven time management skills
