Job Title

Lead Security Operations Specialist

Job Summary

This pivotal role partners with security teams and stakeholders across the organisation to coordinate demand, build strategic relationships, and drive standardisation of security delivery practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage intake processes, triage, and prioritisation for all security team requests
  • Partner with Security Leadership Team to identify resources and facilitate cross-team dependencies for efficient delivery
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships across Technology, Product, and business units through regular stakeholder engagement
  • Implement Jira optimization and guide the adoption of Scrum/Agile methodologies across Security teams to improve delivery transparency
  • Develop standardised processes, best practices, and Service Catalogues for Security project management
  • Lead change management initiatives to help Security teams adapt to new processes and tools while building agile capability maturity
  • Provide ongoing business updates, reporting, and support investment planning for security initiatives

Requirements

  • Strong technology background with experience implementing Jira and other project management tools in enterprise environments
  • Proven track record with Scrum/Agile methodologies and frameworks, guiding teams through agile transformation
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills with high EQ and ability to influence across diverse teams and adjust communication styles accordingly
  • Experience balancing competing priorities across security and business landscapes, with excellent judgement in managing business expectations against security requirements
  • Strong problem-solving leadership with demonstrated ability to lead others through ambiguity and quickly breakdown complex challenges
  • Collaborative work experience with cross-functional teams in technology environments, preferably with exposure to cybersecurity teams and projects
