Chief Infrastructure Security Coordinator

The Chief Infrastructure Security Coordinator plays a critical role in managing and maintaining the built infrastructure security systems for state properties, including Volunteer Unit Local Headquarters and staff offices.
This position is responsible for effective management of physical security issues, contributing to and managing annual programs of security maintenance works, and collaborating with facilities teams on general maintenance.
The successful candidate will support and advise facility managers and the Manager Infrastructure and Property on a wide range of physical security matters.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a volunteer-based emergency service dedicated to building resilience and strengthening communities' capacity to recover swiftly and safely from emergencies.
We work closely with communities and partners to achieve more aware, informed, and prepared communities. Our highly skilled and equipped Volunteers are trained comprehensively in various emergency environments.
As the largest road rescue network in Australia, we have specialist teams providing 24/7 response to road accidents and trauma incidents, assisting Victoria Police in search and rescue operations, and supporting other emergency services during major incidents.
