Job Summary

This role is responsible for leading the delivery and support of real-time operational systems within our organisation.

The successful candidate will oversee the monitoring, control and optimisation of network performance through SCADA, telemetry, IoT and digital systems.

They will also lead a high-performing team of operators and technical specialists to ensure the safe, reliable and efficient delivery of water and wastewater services.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5-10 years' experience in operations management within utilities or critical infrastructure
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, IT or a related discipline
  • Strong knowledge of SCADA, telemetry, IoT or similar control systems
  • Proven leadership in managing 24/7 or shift-based teams
  • Experience in water industry operations and regulatory frameworks
  • Familiarity with digital transformation, predictive analytics or smart infrastructure
  • Track record in incident management and emergency response
  • ITIL certification and an understanding of hydraulic systems
